Discipleship Groups

What is a discipleship group?

A small group of disciples who gathered together for relationship, life, prayer and ministry was central to Jesus' strategy to extend his kindom. At SMCF we believe discileship groups based on the same model used by Jesus are the most effective means for our growth personally and corporately. The groups are single sex although some groups may choose to meet together from time to time. The aim is to meet at least twice monthly for no more than an hour and a quarter.

The main focus will be the following:

Maturity:

In one's character and relationships

Ministry:

Releasing individuals to serve others in the unique work and ministry God has for them.

Multiplication:

The passing on of what one recieved to others
