Children’s and Schools’ Worker appointment

We are pleased to communicate that Sarah Connolly will join the staff as our Children’s and Schools’ Worker from 1 September, for 1 year. She will bring to that role some great experience of working with children in various contexts gained whilst part of the SMCF Net Team. We have also been thrilled by the opportunities that have arisen in local primary schools through Sarah and the Net Team’s work in the last year, and look forward to her developing that work further.

Sarah will continue to work with our brilliant teams of volunteers who serve in this area on Sunday mornings, and a key part of her role will be to develop these teams, and draw in new workers for both the activities with ‘church kids’ and those in the local schools that we’re also seeking to serve.
